2018 is off to a flyer with TWO big name recruits confirming that they are joining this great club. Heath Scotland and Ben Johnson have confirmed that they are IN for season 2018. They will join our coach Corey McKernan and other AFL stars Anthony Koutoufides, Ang Christou and Dean Rice who are all set to play again in season 2018.
We will be fielding four teams this year Over 35’s (Supers), Over 35’s (Masters), Over 45’s and Over 50’s. So regardless of your age or skill level, there is a team that’s right for you. What an opportunity to be coached by and ex-AFL star and train and play alongside some of the best that have played the game.
This is a truly family friendly club that promotes mateship, men’s health and fitness. Our club supports the Diamond Valley Charity that assists families in the Diamond Valley Region. The game has modified rules to ensure player safety is paramount! Training is once a week at Shelley Reserve, Heidelberg Heights and we play a ten game season with games every second week, kicking off on April 8th.
If a new player signs with DVSRFC and has an alliance to a Junior Football Club we will give the club a monetary donation.
